How to Check Your System Type

Open Settings

Press Windows key + I to open Windows Settings.

Go to System

Click on "System" then select "About" from the left sidebar.

Check System Type

Look for "System type". If it says "64-bit operating system", download x64. If it says "32-bit operating system", download x86.

Windows Security Warning: Windows Defender or SmartScreen may warn you about running Alphares. This is because the executable is not digitally signed. The software is safe and open source. Click "More Info" then "Run Anyway" to proceed.

After Downloading

  1. Move alphares.exe to an accessible location like your Desktop or Documents folder
  2. Double-click alphares.exe to run (Windows may show a security warning - click More Info then Run Anyway)
  3. Set your desired width and height for Fortnite resolution
  4. Check the "Read-only" box to prevent Fortnite from changing settings
  5. Click "Apply" to save your settings
  6. Launch Fortnite and enjoy your custom resolution
